Sasja van der Merwe
Sasja van der Merwe qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2000 and worked mainly with children with specialised emotional and cognitive needs including in a school context, until she commenced her training as a Clinical Psychologist. She qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2013 and has been specialising in clinical and neuropsychological assessments with a focus on clinical application.

Wings with Roots is presented by Siloah, in combination with the Polyvagal Equine Institute (PVEI) in South Africa. Our work is grounded in contemporary research in neuroscience, Polyvagal Theory, and equine-assisted learning.
Liza Prinsloo
Liza Prinsloo qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 1997. She obtained her Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of London in 2003. Liza has extensive experience in neuropsychological assessment with individuals spanning the whole mental health spectrum, both in the United Kingdom and in South Africa.
